Day 1: Welcome to Tanzania – Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’re warmly welcomed by your personal safari guide with a friendly welcome. You’re transferred to your lodge in Arusha, where you can relax, unwind, and soak in the African atmosphere as you prepare for your adventure.

Overnight: Arusha (Silver, Gold or Platinum option)

Day 2: Transfer to Tarangire National Park

Today you head to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Enjoy an exciting game drive along the Tarangire River, where wildlife gathers in large numbers, especially during the dry season.

Overnight: Near Lake Manyara / Tarangire area

Day 3: Transfer to Serengeti National Park

Travel to the legendary Serengeti, home to vast open plains and incredible wildlife. Your first game drive introduces you to lions, cheetahs, leopards and countless herbivores roaming freely in this iconic park.

Overnight: Central Serengeti

Day 4–5: Northern Serengeti – The Great Migration

Journey north to witness one of nature’s greatest spectacles: the Great Migration. With luck, you may see thousands of wildebeest and zebras braving the crocodile-filled Mara River during their dramatic crossing (seasonal, July–October). These days are filled with unforgettable game drives and raw wilderness moments.

Overnight: Northern Serengeti

Day 6: Serengeti – Big Cats & Open Plains

Return to the central Serengeti for more wildlife encounters. Enjoy another full day of game drives, tracking predators and soaking in the beauty of Africa’s most famous national park.

Overnight: Central Serengeti

Day 7-8: Ngorongoro Crater – A Natural Wonder

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most wildlife-rich areas. Here you’ll see lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras and, with luck, the rare black rhino—all within a breathtaking volcanic caldera.

Overnight: Ngorongoro / Karatu area

Day 9: Departure

Enjoy a relaxed morning before transferring back to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home. Not ready to leave? Extend your journey with a beach escape to Zanzibar, Pemba or Mafia Island.
