After having breakfast at your pace, set off for Kigali city tour with some of the major iconic tourist sites being the Kimironko Giant market, memorial sites scattered in various parts of the city. The memorial sites will include the Nyamata church and the Rwanda Hotel where people who had sought refuge as the genocide raged, the Gisozi genocide memorial where the remains of the dead are buried. Explore Akagera National Park-Evening boat cruise on Lake Ihema
After breakfast, you will be picked by our safari guide and leave for Akagera National Park, the game drive in Akagera national park takes about 3 hours where we will be searching for the big mammals like Elephants, Giraffes, Buffaloes, several Antelope species, and recently the re-introduced Lions and Rhinos. We order lunch and later head for a boat trip on Lake Ihema watch Hippos and crocodiles in the water or by the shores and meet the buffaloes and elephants wallowing by the water banks. Morning game drive and Transfer to Kigali
After an early morning breakfast, leave for a morning game drive in Akagera national park to catch up with late hunters and early risers. We will be searching for the big mammals like Elephants, Giraffes, Buffaloes, several Antelope species, and recently the re-introduced Lions and Rhinos. The park is a varied habitat for wildlife and a number bird species with over 500 bird species in the park making it a birding paradise. You will have a picnic lunch. Later transfer back to Kigali for a relaxed evening, dinner and overnight.

Ibyiwacu Cultural Experience|To Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
Have Breakfast from Kivu serena resort, you shall drive northeast to the town of Musanze close to the Virunga Volcano range. You will have lunch en route or at the lodge depending on time. In the evening, you will embark on the Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village which gives you a rare chance to meet local people, in their environment, with a taste of the culture and traditions. Expect to have a guided community walk to visit different sites and experience the everyday lives of the local people.

Gorilla Trekking
Have yourself an early tasty breakfast, after which your driver guide will take you to the headquarters in the park by 8 Am for beefing. Later embark on the amazing adventure which is gorilla tracking, in most cases this activity requires some physical fitness by the hikers. On several occasions it takes between 1 to 6 hours round trip to trek and upon meeting the Gorillas, trekkers are permitted to be with the gorillas for 1 hour to observe them, take photos and learn about them. It is really a nice experience seeing them play, guard each other, feed among others. After trekking, you will be escorted back to the starting point for Gorilla Trekking certificates.
You will freshen up at the lodge and later be transferred to Kigali International Airport to board your return flight scheduled at 12:30 Am on 5th December 2024.
