Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is famous for being a home to half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas, one of Uganda's ancientas well asthe most biologically diverse rainforests that is over 25,000 years with almost 400 species of plants that are forming the huge impenetrable forest that is ever green. It is a home to approximately 400 mountain gorillas, 120 mammal species such as numerous primate species, over 350 bird species, including 23 Albertine Rift endemics and is the ancient home of the Batwa bush people.

Itineraries
Day 1
Pickup from Kampala / Entebbe – Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Our driver guide dressed in Amakula African Safaris uniform will pick you from your residence/hotel within Kampala or Entebbe to begin your superb road drive to Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park. The drive will take you to southwestern part of Uganda across the Equator. On your way, you will have an en-route stop at Kayabwe Equator crossing point for unforgettable water experiment experience and to take memorial photos. Continue with your drive with another stop to have lunch from Mbarara city later, proceed to check in at your reserved lodge at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest national park.

Day 2
Bwindi Forest national park – Morning Mountain Gorilla Tracking – Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Get up very early in the morning for your breakfast and then go to the park head officefor the pre-tracking briefing about the guidelines during mountain gorilla tracking and later set off for your long time awaited mountain gorilla adventure. During mountain gorilla tracking, yourranger guide will be able to provide information about everything you will encounter that will make your walk so interesting. Meeting the giant mountain gorillas is the most wildlife breathtaking experience! Therefore, once you encounter them you will be allowed to spend 1 hour of observing and take as many photos as you would want of the Mountain Gorillas. Return to the park head office to pick your certificate, have lunch and refreshments and later transfer to Lake Bunyonyi to relax while canoeing and bird watching. Dinner and an overnight
